Actress Mira Sorvino took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to blast Court TV pundits for 'trying to poke holes' in Annabella Sciorra's testimony at Harvey Weinstein's trial. In the tweet, Sorvino wrote: 'OmG. @CourtTV how dare you continue to bring on criminal defense attorneys to try and poke holes in Annabella's testimony. 'She DID tell her best friends! And when Harvey came to my high rise in the middle of the night, he got by my doorman at 2am and appeared at my door too. ' Sorvino's tweet came shortly after Sciorra testified that Weinstein pinned her hands behind her head and violently raped her more than 25 years ago, becoming the first accuser to take the stand against the former Hollywood producer in his sexual assault trial. Her tweet was referring to a portion of Sciorra's testimony in which she said Weinstein also sent her packages with Valium and a box of chocolate penises and turned up early one morning at her Cannes Film Festival hotel room in his underwear with the body oil and the videotape.
